The metal back case is the reason, LG G5 and HTC 10 also doesn't feature wireless charging.

There is an Xperia that does support wireless charging, the Xperia Z3V, exclusive for Verizon USA, the phone it's heavier and bulkier.

Wireless Qi charging is a step down in power compared to wire charging as I think it only has 1A output. So you need twice the time to charge.

You can get an imbedded casing that support this function for your phone something like this.
