Voicemail notification

Hi,
Since the Lollipop update I have noticed that the voicemail icon does not disappear after having listened to and deleted the message. It still remains in the notification bar until I restart the phone.
I wonder if this is a Lollipop issue and there is a solution.

I have exactly the same issue after the update. I have had to tell my provider to turn off advanced vovoicemail notifications so I just get a text instead now. The recent update didn't fix this issue. Come on Sony this is a simple one.

One Sony representative gave me another temporary solution "delete the p phone memory and cache". This only works one time. Now imagine if you receive 6, or 10 voicemails in a day and have to transfer your contacts to SIM, delete memory and cache, transfer the contacts back to phone every time because the icon has not disappeared 😂

I am having the same issue since Lollipop. When I was on 5.0.2, I could disable the notification via "Clear Data" in Phone app. But now on 5.1.1 the message persists even when I have Airplane mode on...
