Hello,

I just updated to Lollipop 5.0 (finally), and now.. the phone is just awful and gives me a headache. It's laggy, it gets stuck, it's slow. I can't find my messages, and I can't even access messages. Can't send or receive, can suddenly get stuck and then get lost in the background (the background only shoves with the colours that change), and it turns off by itself, starts by itself, get message notifications randomly, gets so warm you could probably boil an egg on it.

To sum it up; it's catastrophic. I don't really know what to do, it's just sooooo annoying. Anyone, please help?

The problem is often caused by the actual upgrade from one operating system to another so you should try performing a system repair using PC Companion as this will often fix issues - This will factory reset your phone and erase all data so best to backup before you begin

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the on screen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

I really didn't know that, otherwise I would of done it on my phone as well. I was about to do it, until I got the update message on the screen, and I went for it.

But my messages aren't lost, are they? I have now backup up all data on the computer through PC companion. What should I do now? And how to get all data back on phone after factory reset? Will the apps go back on the phone as well?

Thanks!

I just wrote down the most important phonenumbers, and maybe they got back up anyway. But can you check if I back up the messages as well? I did that when I safety backed up everything on the Computer comapanion. Because I can't open messages to find them.
