xperia z1 power button not responding

Dear all,

I have a problem with my Xperia Z1 since I submerged it in a jar of water less than 30 centimeter deep for about a minute. The phone worked for a while but it's not like it supposed to be, Now it's dead!! It won't open and the power button is not responding or functioning any more, I keep pressing it and there is no response. I tried all:-

1- Press the Power button + up, down and both together volume keys.

2- Red Off button also doesn't work.

3- Also the repair from PC companion didn't work.

And note that it's fully charged because when I connect the wall charger it light green, please advice.

Hi,

I followed the link you gave me and contacted the Saudi Arabia support team because I bought the phone from there. No one answered my message though my question has been registered, and they gave me an automated reference number 1-1532092907.

I hope someone could help me fix my device, because it seems that the Xperia Z1 is not water resistance after all like Sony says.
