walkman problem

Hi Team,

I purchased a Xperia E1 Dual mobile phone just week ago. The walkman app does not play any music properly. The songs get stuck at any random point. Is the phone I purchased defective?

Also I would like to share the info that I have updated the OS to android kitkat version via sony pc companion. Is that updation of OS, any cause behind the malfunctioning of walkman app..?

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Try to clear data for the Walkman app under Settings > Apps > All > Walkman.

Hi,

I tried clearing the app data as suggested by you but, the problem still persists. To update you more, all playable songs are on SD card and theSD card storage capacity is of 4 GB and it is of class 4. Is the SD card might be the cause for random pauses while playing the songs.

Kindly help me.

I had the same problem 2 months ago. You need to change your SD Card from a Class 4 to a Class 10 or better, than the problem is solved.
