It doesn't support OTG, the review on GSM Arena must be wrong. I've tried it with externally powered OTG cable but no success, E1 doesn't have OTG drivers in the kernel I guess. Maybe with KitKat update that will change, if there is one.

Android USB stick and Xperia E1

I have a 32gb Android USB stick that I connected to my Xperia E1 and tried to access the music on it but my phone does not see it. I used the Total Commander to browse for the files but it doesnt see the USB stick. This Android USB stick works perfectly with my Nexus 7. I added 32GB SD card to my mobile and it works perfectly. Do I need some additional program or driver in order to use my USB stick with me mobile or this phone is not designed for this?

Regards

Vlada

The phone should support USB OTG for you to be able to do that. But I have read it doesn't,even though some websites confirm it.
