      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Excuse my poor english because I'm a french user.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I noticed that I cannot activate the screen with the power button until the call ends.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I had to switch on the earphones to be able to reactivate the screen with the power button.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please note that I have no screen protector.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any idea ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Jean-Marc&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;First of all make sure that you don't have any cover or case covering the proximity sensor (top part of the phone, over the display). If you haven't,&amp;nbsp;I would suggest that you try to boot your phone into safe mode to see if the problem may be related to any 3rd party app that you have installed in your phone:&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/FAQ/How-to-boot-your-phone-into-safe-mode/m-p/348008#U348008" target="_blank"&gt;http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/FAQ/How-to-boot-your&lt;WBR /&gt;-phone-into-safe-mode/m-p/348008#U348008&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;



&lt;P&gt;If the behavior persists in safe mode, you can try to reset your phone to factory settings as suggested above.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
