Hi All,

Is it possible to update my xperia ray (st18i) to android version 4? I can read many atricles on internet but i want to ask if it is a legal way.

Officially,4.0.4 is the latest Android for the Ray.Did you try to update with PCC?

Because of Sony bloatwares i tried some custom ROMs of different versions of Android from Xda developpers, for me it seemed that 4.x needs too much RAM, my Ray was very slow, well, too slow for me. (I saw a Xperia Z1C running under 4.3 android stock Rom, it basicly uses minimum 600Mo RAM !! öÖö )

So since 2 years i always com back to the "RayOnium Final V7" with "Aire" Kernel under GB 2.3.4 that is the fastest and most stable Rom i tried.
