Also I forgot to add that the phone wont charge as when Its plugged into a wall socket it just keeps turning itself off and on with the failed update message and even when I hold the power and volume up buttons together this still repeats,
Thanks in advance

I'd been having a problem with the proximity sensor on my Z1 ever since the most recent update so I decided to prefrom a the software repair on the pc companion but when it reached the actual update stage and told me to unplug the usb and make sure the phone was at 50% battery it only gave me 1 second and when straight into the update. My phone was powered off at this point and I tried to turn it back on during the update but it wouldn't power on, (I don't know what percentage the battery was on) . The update failed and now when I just hold down the power button the phone(unpluged) wont turn on. If I plug it into the laptop via USB the light is blue and holding down the power button does nothing and the pc companion can't find it. I've tried holding down the power button and the volume up(+) button for 5-10 seconds and it vibrates 3 times but then goes into a cycle of the sony logo, then the update failed logo and then off again. Also I forgot to add that the phone wont charge as when Its plugged into a wall socket it just keeps turning itself off and on with the failed update message and even when I hold the power and volume up buttons together this still repeats,
Thanks in advance
