This is the first Sony mobile phone I have bought and have had it for only a year. At the time people praised the support Sony gave their products and so I wouldn't have dreamed that software support would be cut short for what is a technologically "current" device. To support for only 2 years is very short and undermines the "excellent support" Sony gives its products.

Does this mean that softare support for my Sony TV and Sony Blu Ray player will be also limited?

A very short sighted policy by Sony that will now place Sony down with the cheaper brands. Guess which ones will have greater appeal if there is little difference in support.

Very disappointed.
