    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, tried this solution when i got home from work but still noting, the only sign of life is the red led with the usb lead connected, this extinguishes as soon as the lead is removed.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My Z2 turned itself off today and wouldn't switch back on, when i got home i connected the charger and the led is lit solid red, i have left it on charge for 6 hours,&amp;nbsp; no key combinations are working and the phone is totally unresponsive.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Help please !&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;In this case please try running a software repair (this can be done with the phone powered off):&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;1. Download the PC Companion software from &lt;A href="http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"&gt;http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and install it on your PC.&lt;BR /&gt;2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.&lt;BR /&gt;3. Phone Software Update.&lt;BR /&gt;4. Start.&lt;BR /&gt;5. Repair Phone&lt;BR /&gt;6. Continue&lt;BR /&gt;7. Accept data removal&lt;BR /&gt;8. Next&lt;BR /&gt;9. Wait for prepare&lt;BR /&gt;10. Select Phone&lt;BR /&gt;11. Follow the connection steps&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;the handset has been returned to sony for repair, it was received at the service centre on saturday and as yet i have not heard any further news, i will update as and when i have further information.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
