PC companion backup

I backed up my phone a while ago using pc companion. And now i've lost my phone and need a certain cell phone number. How can i view the numbers that were on my phone using the pc companion? - Also, i currently don't have a sony so please don't give a reply saying i should connect my phone and use the restore option. Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

As standard, it's not possible to get out the contacts from a back up that is made via PC Companion. You need to restore the back up to a phone to retrieve the data.

Note that this is a third party solution which I do not know how it works or can guarantee that it works.

Hi, thank you for replying. I know not to shoot the messenger and you have nothing to do with the pc companion programming, but that sure as **bleep** makes it pretty **bleep** useless app now doesnt it.
