You could use an external USB power pack. Some have dual connectors with different power outputs, e.g. to operate a phone and a tablet, and might also be used to charge the internal battery.

Today my tablet battery was empty in the middle of my activity.

And no electricity around.

Then I thought why have phones and tablets batteries that aren't exchangeable?

Wouldn't it be great to swap an empty battery for a fully charged one in a few seconds ?

And continue with our work?

Why can't we take an extra battery with us to put in, just like my camera?

Is it because the tablet is to thin, so that there is no place for a removable battery?

Then why should a tablet be so thin?

Do we want a 1mm tablet?

I don't.

I want an extra battery I can use, so I can continue to work!

Thank you for your reply.

But I would prefer a second internal battery to swap the empty internal one.

I don't like extra things stick to my Sony.

I asked myself the question why cameras have exchangeable batteries and phones and tablets have not.

It would be so handy.
