The Battery Drain SUPER Fast!

Hello Guys! I just bought my Xperia Z2 Two Days Ago and I found an issue about that my battery drain really really **bleep** fast and it also felt hot! In Normal State my phone can just only last for 8hours or less with my many things turned off,even if I turned on Stamina Mode it doesn't make any better too,it can only last for 1day or less!
Can anyone help me or tell me what to do?

Charge your device to 100%, then repair your phone using PC Companion (Software reinstall).

Your battery should be calibrated.

first thing to check is what is consuming your battery. The other day I found that the facebook messenger app had gone rogue (as I hadn't logged into it yet, so it was continously updating behind my back in the background draining the battery by keeping the CPU running at full speed).

First thing is always to check your battery usage to see if something stands out.

If you don't know how to do this, go to settings (if you don't know how to do this, pulll down notification shade, touch quick settings in top right, and press settings button).

Press the Power Management Option, and scroll down to battery usage.

Screen should probably be main culprit along with google search. Cell standby may be high if you are in a bad area, or if you are continously running 4G.

Is anything coming up?

Ever since I updated my phone to 17.1.2.A.0.314 my battery started draining faster than before the update. I used to get two days with it now it can barely last a day. I also tried repairing it through PC Companion and still the same results.

Hi, any new apps added since the update or are you still using exactly the same pre update? Have you checked your Battery Usage stats.......

No new apps and the one more problem that I have after the update is that the Sony apps can't be updated through the Update Center and didn't get the new app called Movie Creator. Yes I did check my Battery Usage and chatted with Sony Customer Support and told the agent about my battery usage. The agent said there is nothing odd about the battery usage of the apps and Android OS.

I Got The Sony Pc Companian Software But Where Can I Get The Software Reinstaller?Or Do You Mean Back-up --> Reset --> Restore?:smileyconfused:

Mine has the same issue after the update, I've downloaded an app "Gsambattery" and checked, found out it's caused by "Google service", used the app to disabled the service and problem solved.
