The Bluetooth connection from my Sony Xperia z1 compact doesn't work with my car audio after update.

I have the current update: 14.3.A.0.761

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Did the connection work fine before you updated the phone? In what way does the problem present itself now? Can you connect to the system at all?

It is a good habit to remove the pairing information on both sides (so phone and carkit) BEFORE you pair these again.

This normally solves problems like described here.

It worked fine before the update. I can't even connect to the system now.

Yes i tried that. And i have re-downloaded the newest update again to my phone, but still no connection.

I am having the exact same problems connecting to my car and home stereo speakers since my update. I have reinstalled updates, and removed pairing as well but it won't connect. Once I turn on bluetooth, and it tries to throw, it keeps trying to connect but is unable to connect. Please help, this is very frustrating.

I'm having the same problem with my Sony Xperia ZQ. Other cellphones are working well with my car's bluetooth.

My problem began after updating for Android 4.4. I've tried to reinstall the OS but nothing changed...

Hi Everyone!

I can pairing the phone with my car. After the succesfull pairing the phone connects to the car. When I want to call someone the phone disconnects and swiches to the integrated speaker. The phone is a Sony Xperia Z1 Compact (Build 14.4.A.0.108)

I have an Xperia S (Build 6.2.B.1.96) too. It works fine with the same car (BMW 320d Touring 2004).

Please help me!

Hi,

i really have the same Problem with my BMW 3er Touring E91 (2006/2007) and the built in Bluetooth.

I can pare the Z1c to the Car-Bluetooth and i can agree to take contacts. After paring i can call someone only one time. After ending or next day auto-paring, the cal ends also after starting and it switches to the Z1c-speker. Ending the call is also possible only by the Z1c.

I need help.
