Hi,

Well I have searched the internet for a silution and the only one I can find is I have to take my phone to a sony repair center , but that is really my last last last resort, as that center is very far from me.

My phone was on charge through the night as always and the morning my alarm went of and I snoozed it and after 5 minitues it went of again and I switched it of. Took it of charge and about 15 min later I wanted to check the time and only my back light came on makeing my screen gray.

What I have tried to fix this.

forcefully switched it of by holding vol up and power button unlit it vibrated 3 times, switched it back on but no display, u can unlock the screen so the touch screen works and the sound and everything, even when u connect it to a PC I can brows my photos.

then I tried remving the sim card. no luck

then I did a sony PC companion software repair. no luck

then I tried booting into safe mode. no luck

I am 100% sure this is software as nothing phyisicly happend to the phone, didnt fall or anything.

does anybody know of a more thouroug reset, as I think 2 apps clashed, as I have two alarms that goes of at the same time.

Please help

Hey SwitchVanDam

I have the same problem with my sony xperia acro s. I put my phone on the table, (it was working fine before hand) and then i went to check the time, switched it on but only a flickering gray screen came up.

I tried resetting it, taking the sim out but thats all.

By the way I bought this phone only 2 weeks ago and i havent dropped or anything, so i also dont think its anything pysisicly aswell, it must a software problem.

If you do figure how to fix, please let me
