I bought my Z2 from Taiwan and am curious to know if the warranty will still work with Sony UK?

My main issue is with the left flap (for charging and Sim) it does not stay shut at all, it reopens by itself and is very annoying, i have the overheating issue as well but the flap is my main annoyance. I also have the gap in the top right corner and the bottom left.

If the warranty is valid in the uk would sending it in get these issues fixed? or would i have to live with it?

I know that Sony does not offer international warranty.But you could check with xperia care:

That opening of the flap is absolutely annoying. i totally agree. Does it qualify me for warranty? Mine was bought from Dubai and will that mean i have to go there for warranty? am currently in Ghana- West Africa.
