I have had my phone for less than 12 hours and have had the issue of the vibration when typing turns off and on. This can happen mid sentence or mid navigation around applications on my phone. This is really annoying but I want it turned on without doing this.
Is the a fault in the phone or a known issue that I was not made aware of prior to purchasing a phone with a fault that will annoy me and make me want to smash it rather than use it.

1st time I'm hearing this - Unless you have stamina mode enabled and your battery has dropped below a set level then your phone will turn of features to preserve battery time

As I said I have had my phone for less than 12 hours, which most of those I was at work. The only thing I have done is set up email, sync my google play and perform all updates to built in apps.

There is no battery saver turned on, and batter is currently at 81%
**Possible fix** Hi, i was having the same ptoblem with my xperia z1 compact. I had this phone for several hoyrs only. I notice that the vibrate dies whenever I set the vibration intensity to less than 50%. It seems like when in low intensity, and you're typing too fast, the vibrate motor cant keep up with you because they are programmed to spin slower. Therfore they sometimes get stuck. That's why it needs a little bump or shake for it to work again, so i tried setting the vibrate intensity to 60%. And I find it hard to replicate or recreate the issue. At 80%, even harder. And at 100% it seems like the problem is gone. My suggestion is keep your vibrate intesity greater than 65%.

I hope this helps.
