Xperia mini ST15i rebooting continuously!!!!!

Hi,

I dono whats happening with my mobile. Its continuously rebooting.

The reason i suspect is:

last day my device was charging full night with different brand charger.

I used my friend's SD card in my phone.

Can you pls someone help to resolve this issue if possible????

Hi, hope it is just a software issue which can be resolved by repairing phone software with PC Companion or Update Service.

Be aware that this process will erase phone data completely, backup if necessary.

Hi gwhispererz,

I have used the other battery in my mobile. I am not facing any problem.

In this case, still the problem could be resolved with the software update??

My phone is not rebooting when its connected to power cable.

Can you please help me more on this!

Software repair will normally resolve software issues. Either you monitor phone with replacement battery or proceed with the software repair.
However software repair can help you verify whether the battery is giving you problem.

Hi,

I am using another battery in my phone. im not seeing any issues with it.

The phone is working fine more than 4hrs.

So, the problem with the battery? Software update will not be helpful anymore for this problem... am i rite gwhispererz??

Hey,

I used the original batter with my phone. I just on my phone and didnt unlock it too... then its works.

If i connect headset/changing network operator mode, its rebooting with the same problem.

I understand the battery is not good as software expected now..?

You may want to use the replacement battery for the time being (since it is working perfectly well) and continue to monitor the situation.

I updated my ST15i from 2.3.4 to 4.0 with Sony official update using PC Companion. It was working great for one week. But since yesterday it suddenly stated restarting continuously.

Should i go to service centre or root my phone or try something else.

Please suggest what should i do.

I reinstalled the update, this time using Update Service with full battery charge and my phone is back again with high spirits . Thanks.

Guys,

Recently i face the same issue.

I follow one trick, it working awesome....

"Once moble enter the Screen, it took few seconds then restart.

So Immediately go to Settings menu and Turn OFF the Bluetooth."

After it restart once, then everything going to be fine.

But dont forget, this issue will back, when you turn on Bluetooth. So try some alternatives to Skip Bluetooth usage.
