Hi all,

I have just got a sim free experia T, via amazon, I have inserted my sim card adjusting the phone settings. I set a screen lock code, however, when i try the code that I recall, it does not work. I have tried all possible combinations - i canot access the phone functions to remove or reset it.

I have searched sony support, and downloaded and the Sony update service to upgrade from ICS to Jelly Bean, in the hope this would help. however this would not work as the screen is locked.

Please help

If it is a screen lock you have on your phone you can remove it by resetting your phone by repairing the phone software using PC Companion:

http://www.sonymobile.com/update

In PC Companion, press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phones software > Press the blue link that says "Repair phone". Do this without the phone connected and follow the instructions in the program.

You should also be able to do this using SUS. Select to reinstall the phone software.
