HI,

Did you ever get this resolved? I have a problem with my Z2 - it connects to my tomtom (also showing internet connection) but doesn't connect to tomtom services.

Hi,

I thought I would share with you my experiences with a recently purchased Z2 Xperia and an existing TomTom GO400 device.

I had no connection problems with the GO400 and my Nexus 4/5 phones so when I bought a used Z2 I was disappointed that although I could connect / pair the phone and SatNav I could not connect to tomtom services.

Anyway, the fix..

I checked and amended the APN settings on my phone (Settings > Mobile Network > Access Point Names) to those provided on the geek squad page:

And whereas before I had no connection to tomtom services, now I do.

I'm assuming as my Z2 was originally a THREE phone, and I use O2, there had been a problem with the inbuilt APN settings.

NOTE - my internet on my phone was working fine so I didn't originally think to check the APN settings.
