Arc S ICS upgrade problem

I'm having a problem trying to update, I get as far as holding back and attaching the USB, windows says new hardware found, but can't find drivers, then nothing else happens.

I've updated both PC Companion and SEUS, no change.

I've turned of anti-virus and firewall, no difference.

Getting a bit fed up now, please help!

turn off your firewall and/or antivrus, reinstall SUS and restart your PC then turn off your antivirus and/or firewall and try again

anytime, quick suggestion, do NOT install any taskiller, antivirus and/or battery app at all

Why? I've been using lookout, can't say i've noticed any problems, you think i should remove it?

those apps are bad news, they create issues with other apps, also check the permisions (on your comptuer go to play.google.com > sign in > my apps > click on them and click on permisions)
