SI officially announced in upgrade list, but not available! SI 1250-3555

I've done everything asked: checked the SI number and waited patiently for the SI announce. Now, Where is the ICS update??

Mine is 1250-3555 and there is NOT ANY update using pc companion or update service.

Someone could give us an answer... Everybody with this SI number can't update so, why they add the SI number on the list if it isn't avaiable ?

How do you know this?

Everytime the software check and return a message saying the system is up to date. Usually overloaded server don't respond to a request.

I want a official statement.

Be patience. You said that the update will be avaiable in the beginning or in the middle of June.

We're almost in the end of the month.

Come on, if there is no update, don't add the SI number on the list. That's simple...

This is one of the major tasks that are legally required from us as phone manufacturer, but is a task that the custom ROM community doesn’t have to take into consideration. Furthermore, by putting all this efforts into testing and certification, we ensure that quality and conformance is at a top level, in benefit for all consumers worldwide.

Additional approvals might be needed
In some cases, the new and complete software release has to be approved to be used in all the different networks that our phones should work in. Many operators also want to customise the software according to their requirements, which in turn are based on their market, network, differentiation and business model. We implement all of these customisations and create a variety of software packages and releases for each operator.

When all of this is done, we are ready to roll out the software release variants as software upgrades to operators and consumers around the world. The software upgrade can then be downloaded and installed either in the operator’s own update tool (if they have one), from Sony Ericsson’s PC Companion tool, or by over the air updates (FOTA – Firmware Over the Air).

Our servers are running at 110% to support all our users that are waiting for ICS. I encourage you try every so often, or simply wait a few days for the rush of users to slow down.

my phone is carrier free with a listed SI upgrade. The server overloaded was posted jun/01, almost a month ago.

Pc companion responds very quickly for the request, don't seems like a overloaded server.

I don't buy the overloaded server excuse.

We 1250-3555 users could help and rent a server for sony, they don't have enough resources to support us.

same for me. More 5 days to solve this...

I don't like apple devices but I need to admit they have a better support and no update issues.

No statement at all from sony about listed SI without update and now this error.

I give it up! I'll check again friday.

If anyone accomplished the update please post a message.
