Hi, I tried upgrading my phone to ICS yesterday, PCC didn´t work at all, so I tried SUS instead. That way it downloaded the latest update but the instalation didn´t work. After that my phone is dead, when I try to start it, I only manage to get to a warning sign and a phone icon in the middle of the screen. And it reboots afterwards. After all this the phone cant connect to PCC any longer, and it still fails when trying to repair and upgrade via SUS. IS it totaly dead now or what should I try?

Hey, maas!

Make a hard factory reset: hold the power butten and the volume up button at once for at least 5 sec.till the phone vibrates 3 times.

install on your pc flashtool and the update:http://androxyde.github.com/Flashtool/

then you need to flash an suitable firmware... From which country you are from?

The link for the swedish firmware has a malfunction!!

Don't unlock your bootloader!!!!!!

I had the same problem with my phone and I'm from germany and it solved our problem!!!

After flashing you could repair your phone with SUS or PCC!

Ok I´m trying that firmware. What do you mean with "don´t unlock your bootloader"? And thanks for helping me

Only flash your phone ( in flashmode [turn of the phone und press volume down button and plug the usb cable in at once , the green light of the phone will glow] ) than repair it with SUS in flashmode too!!

Awesome, it looks like it´s starting again :smileygrin: should i try and repair it or use it as it is, or could i try and install ICS again?

tom421 it's your reponsibility if you are suggesting people with 3rd party software options then please make them aware of the fact that by doing this people most likey may void the warranty of their phone

I appreciate your efforts in helping users but users must be made aware of the consequences( and risks )

now it´s working all other Sony software didn´t. gonna bring in ICS later

Did you recover the data on the phone (pictures, contacts, etc.) or did you lose everything?
