Hi BalaChandran

Just in case please visit www.java.com and update to the latest version. (Download free java Software)

Java is a needed component when using Pc Companion and some times the PC blocks it's installation (antivirus, Firewall etc.)

It's possible you are triying the update in Peek flow hours so try again later.

me too, my SI number published to get android 4.0.4 but my phone (SUS) and Sony PC Companion 2.1 doesnt show update and say : " you have the latest software and application from sony ericsson your phone is up to date! 😐

You may try Update service.exe its very helpful....
It checks the available update for your phone.

disable your antivirus and firewall, also try a different computer if possible

dosent work on GRPS , EGDE , Wifi , PC , SUS , everything it doesnt work! i dont know why

i dont get error , My SI number is : 1257-0972 , this SI published to get ICS but my phone dont get notification to update frimware

no my phone is simfree and not lock , not root, lock bootloader

flash my phone to .58 and only show .62 update not ICS! 😐

that's why, since you flashed a different ftf file, the number on the back no longer match your kit number, your option now is to manually flash ICS
