Plea for information on updates!

Please Please, update the list, says something about the SI number list! I am sick of waiting, I ve being waiting for over 3 months!! there hasn't been any updates to the list in over 3 weeks!, Please update! In addition, I believe that about 20% of the apps pre-installed on my phone are obsolete and they keep running on the background! The phone has so little RAM (xperia Pro) that every app counts! so please says something about new SI numbers or give a good option to update manually.

You can't ask normal people with no time to bother going through all those manual update procedure. Is it possible to force the update using pc companion?

which apps do you think are obsolete? if they were you would get an update through the market/play store.

you can't force an update through PCC or SUS or Bridge, if you want to manually update you can use

1) flashtool (free)

2) wotanserver ($)

I know sync is obsolete, flash is going out as well, I cannot get chrome, nor some apps from my bank (tehy require ICS) not to count all the running apps, like videogames facebook stuff, fb itself, update services, setup guide and lot more crap that is constantly running despite I force stop them.

To use flash tool I have to do a lot of other stuff as well, as you might guess the keyboard will most likely to be wrong as I have a south american layout and then I have to unlock stuff and start messing around with the kernel. I cannot be bothered to do all those things... I think you should just allow users to update their phone if they want to. I don't care about special stuff that my provider could add to the release... Indeed, I would prefer to delete them...

you should really look into what ICS on the 2011 Xperias is (full of bugs) that's quite odd that a bank has an app that it's only for Android 4.0 and above, fb for 4.0 it's not as good as GB. flash is still here, even if the app won't be on the play store it will be on their website, this is not going to be solved by ICS.

What do you mean by "sync is obsolete" which sync are you referring to? because sync is still present on ICS and Jellybean

Videogames are a hit and miss with ICS.

Taskillers, antivirus, battery apps and ram apps are not good for your phone at all.

if you don't want to wait manually update.

is your phone or was your phone locked to a network at all?

you can use the south american ftf file. so you are locked to a network, they have to add their bloatware > re-test > then they might or not release the update, you can read about it here

I know it has its bugs, but I that raises the problem of why did Ericsson said that they will update their to ICS if they are not able to solve the bugs?

I know the bank app is odd but is happening.

The FB app is quite bad even on GB and that's is exactly why I don't use it. I rather use other devices for that. When I opened an app called SYNC is said that it is obsolete since 31December 2011... Ericsson sync will not be available anymore or something like that..

I do not worry to much about game, what is annoying is those app "Music & Videos", "get apps", "games & apps", "get games", that they start running on the background randomly!, I don't use twitter either I can't do anything about it.. "track ID " is worthless... "setup guide" is running all day long!

I don't have any battery apps, task or ram apps, just the antivirus that came with the phone and I doesn't run If don't want to.

I bought the phone on a company but Is unlocked (the company unlocked the phone because it is the law in my country). I have read that there are several no locked phones (with no company) that are still waiting for ICS, as you can read in this forum.

Thanks, but I can't find the south american tft files... as far as I know the only option in that thread is to download the keyboard layout and install manually later...
