MY Cam app is not working

i bought Sony xperia S 4 months ago, it was working perfectly. But one day, I got this Msg everytime i turn my cam on

"Sorry. the application Camera(process com.andoid.camera) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."

I updated it more than 3 times But still didn't work.

I NEED HELP PLZ,

Model Number: LT26i

Android version: 2.3.7

Build number: 6.0.A.3.73

Updated means you reinstalled your software ?

if not kindly do it

Backup everything as it will erase all data on phone (sms, contacts,apps)

Update/Repair your phone via PCC or SUS

PCC (PC COMPANION) – Repair your software with this .First do the setup without connecting your mobile to pc.(only connect when you are asked to).

Do it as follow >> PCC > SUPPORT ZONE> SOFTWARE UPDATE> REPAIR SOFTWARE (written with blue)
