Scratch Resistant Screen ?

This may be a little off topic, but my screen protector has collected too much dust, where it is a pain to watch
I want to remove it ( the default protector that came with the arc s), but i do not know if the so called ' scratch resistant screen' is actually effective
I would just like to hear from users that do not have a screen protector , and the screen's condition.

its a shatter proof film on top of a scratch resistant glass, so yeah you can remove it

no no, the digitizer/touchscreen it's made out of scratch "resistant" glass, not scratch proof, which means it's harder to scratch it but not impossible. and the shatter proof film is in case you break your digitizer you can still use it w/o cutting your fingers or w/o it falling off

OH ! i understanding what you are saying now. So that tiny piece of film holds the glass together and prevents my actual screen from scratching. Thanks for clearing things up

You have the LCD then on top the Digitizer on top you have this film

the LCD it's the screen

digitizer is the touchscreen

film is the shatter proof film

the shatter proof film it's not that great, it gets scratch quite easily, you can put a scratch resistant or scratch proof film on top, like this one
