    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;There is no hard-drive in the phone - just memory which will be wiped or over-written when you do the repair install.&amp;nbsp; There's no real way around that - you can't access that memory directly and you can't access it via the phone because the operating system is corrupted - so you can't recover the data.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can copy any data stored on the SD card off to your PC.&amp;nbsp; If your SD card is corrupted, you MIGHT be able to recover SOME of the lost data using recovery software on your PC.&amp;nbsp; If you synched your phone to your Google account, you should be able to download some of the data from there.&amp;nbsp; Obviously, anything you backed-up to your PC can also be reinstalled after the repair.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You don't need to worry about apps you downloaded from Android Play/Android Market - they can be re-installed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

I was trying to install the latest software via PC companion and it was taking welll over an hour. So I removed the phone to complete it later. Big mistake. My phone is now disabled and only shows an exclamation mark and and triangle. Please could you advise me on what I have to do to restore it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
