Hi,

I've had my Xperia S for approaching 2 months now (After having it replaced because the bottom felt loose/unstable) and I was wondering if there was any way to change or preferably turn off the Low battery noise on the phone?

It's so loud it scares me half to death, and tend to go off when I'm using it, I've almost dropped it twice and pratically threw it earlier this evening (luckily it was sat on the floor so it didnt fall far) but its a pain and the minute I go below 18% battery life I use it as a nervous wreck lol.

Would appreciate help on this matter before I end up launching my phone in fright! x

Strangely enough the noise can be intermittant. I've had the phone on silent a few times and it hasnt made the noise, worth a try if its getting close to giving the warning, turn the volume right down and see what happens. Don't know why the warning is at 18% though...strange level?

You don't happen to have any battery saving tips? I've tried darkest screen brightness, turning off roaming / data and turning on airplane mode, killing applications...but some seem to automatically start themselves (Some games for instance) which i can't find out how to stop. The phone barely lasts the day even if i turn it off when im at work and have no signal, it's a bit of a pain!

Any ideas???
