      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2 weeks ago, i bought a used/second hand live with walkman (wt19i), on good condition&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But i did not checked si number on the device.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The original si on the back of battery: 1253-5745 (dont know what region/country)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When i check using *#*#7378423#*#*, this device loaded with 1254-1950 firmware (indonesian si)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My question is:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Will my walkman be allright with different si firmware?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How to get original si firmware?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I did tried to upgrade/repair from pc companion, and the result was the same 1254-1950 previously loaded.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please help with this couriousity....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you for your answer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Yup....it's work.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I decided to use UK generic fw (1254-1868). more usefull system app.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;but still stuck on .62 firmware.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I thought that generic fw always get update first than branded one....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please let me know if the ICS already released on UK generic.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;yup, very unfair :smileygrin:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have readed some articles, that sony release firmware based on region they said.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;yesterday i tried ics firmware update (the original firmware 1254-1950).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the performance and stability: okay, not bad.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the functionality and compability with older apps: bad &lt;IMG class="lia-deferred-image lia-image-emoji" src="https://community.sony.no/html/images/smilies/035.png" alt="Slightly_frowning_Face" title="Slightly_frowning_Face" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;led notification bug, lag on dial pad when type the number (solved by removed some system apk), some app from the market not function properly.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;so, i think this fair for now :smileygrin:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;stick with gb for a while, till sony release better firmware ( i hope ) &lt;IMG class="lia-deferred-image lia-image-emoji" src="https://community.sony.no/html/images/smilies/035.png" alt="Slightly_frowning_Face" title="Slightly_frowning_Face" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
