I am posting again regarding the camera image quality after the latest update to lollipop. After some more captured images, I have to say that the quality of the camera is verry bad, especially if shooting in dark or with flash or if the subject being shot moves, and you get the same painting cartoon effect.
I went to the official service and requested a downgrade, but I was refused. The explanatuon from the service was that sony doesn't allow downgrade because the last version is stable.
So what's the policy of sony regarding this? Because there were many posts where people sugested to take our phones to the local support for downgrade. Has anybody succeeded in geting downgrade from the local suport?

This is odd, looks like there's a filter applied to it. We can start by clearing camera app cache:

- Go to Settings -> Apps -> All -> Camera -> Force stop, Clear data and restart your phone.

If everything works ok in this mode, a third party app is creating this problem. I´m at disposal for any question.

Hi @santhan

Please, run a backup of the device information. Perform a system repair using PC Companion or Bridge for MAC. The process will erase all internal memory. You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 80% battery. Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds) Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the on screen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process. If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP. Keep us updated.
