Remove the “Live” tab YouView integration? It hides Continue Watching!

Is there a way to remove the “Live” tab that appears when you use a TV tuner? It hides the Continue Watching feature which is far more useful to me, and seems to slow navigation significantly.

The only solutions I’ve found are to downgrade the Google TV Home app, or delete the tuned channels, neither of which are ideal.

50X90S, latest firmware, Android 10.

Hey pabulous, is that on the YouView apps, if yes, which one can you add a picture? Or digital channels?

Hey, sorry for the late response. This is what I'm referring to:

Right now it's showing both, but the majority of the time the "Continue watching" section disappears. As I stream much more than I use YouView, this is unfortunate. I believe they are related because this started happening when the "Live" tab at the top first appeared.

The only workaround I've found is to remove the tuner channels but this is obviously not ideal either, as I do use it occasionally.

You can disable the YouView completely from the settings of the TV, and still enjoy live TV channels

Press the HOME Button
Select Settings
Select Apps
Select Live TV & Catch up
Select Disable and choose Yes

Thanks, but I've tried that and it prevents the catchup apps opening at all.

So frustrating. 😞

Unfortunately, there's no other way of turning it off
