I have a Sony Bravia 43W756C TV - I am looking for the best heaphones to use with this set ... I have some normal ones (non Bluetooth) but can't get a high volume from them ... can you advise please

Hi @1Allingham

You can forget about Bluetooth headphones as according to your TV specifications it does not have the A2DP profile required to support any type of Bluetooth audio output. There is no ‘best’ headphones for your TV, they all should work connected to your headphone socket. Depending on your budget (£1650?) try the best you can afford.

Thank you for replying ..... that's so annoying - it would have been so much easier if they had taken the bluetooth symbol off the settings - I've got regular headphones that plug into the headphone socket - however, the volume doesn't go high enough for me ... next time I buy a TV I will have to make sure that it supports bluetooth ... so frustrating as I thought that buying a Sony Bravia it would have everything enabled.

Hi @1Allingham Your TV does have Bluetooth, just not the profile for connecting headphones. We can only guess why (cost?) they only include this profile on the more expensive TVs. Bluetooth (HID/HOGP/3DSP/SPP).

Yeah not just Bluetooth, but make sure it supports the Bluetooth profile A2DP for the headphone to connect.
