Hopefully this gets changed in the next software update, and you won't have to do a factory reset for the TV.

Hi all, I have a 55XH9505 tv, and I have removed two items that were connected to the tv, ie, Humax BT box and a sound bar ( upgraded so I don't need them) my problem is.... Can I delete these obsolete items off the page where the connected devices are listed?? Because I have too many devices listed now, and half of them are still showing that I don't use, would a 'soft' reset do the trick? If not, could one of you guys give me some advice. Kind regards muvoda.

Hi @Anonymous Thank you for your response to my query, I have tried that thanks and it does not delete the items that I once used, they are still showing, I am at my wit's end with it, so apart from doing a full factory reset ( which I would rather not do) I think I will just have to suck it up!! I did try a 'soft reset' but it didn't make any difference. Thank you again for your input. Regards muvoda.

Hi @Anonymous, thanks for taking the time to respond, I have had a look at that, but all you can do is 'Hide' or 'show' you cannot delete, and ironically, the unused devices that I have got rid of are showing (STILL) in the sync device's menu, weird, I really don't think there is anything else that I can think of, apart from a factory reset and you know what I feel about that, so I am just going to leave be. So thanks again. Regards muvoda.

This may be a far fetched idea, but can you disable Bravia Sync, do a soft reset, and see if they're still there or not before enabliling it once more?

Yeah too right, You would have thought Sony would have a 'delete device' button on a year old tv? Surely I am not the only person that decides to change connected devices🤔 so why 'SONY'? don't you have a button so you can delete unused devices instead of them piling up when not connected, people change, devices change, the world changes, obviously SONY DONT. Take it easy all. muvoda.

Hey muvoda, why don't you do a factory reset? I do it for all of my devices, even my phones, every now and then to improve the overall OS performance, I'm the one who sets it up so not a big deal for me. Just interested to know your point of view.
