ITV Hub and missing subtitles

I have a KD-55AG9 with which I am very happy ....BUT while I can get subtitles on all channels and Apps I simply cannot get them on ITV Hub even though the programme guide states that they are there. Am I alone with this problem or can anyonme help

There's a new software update that was released on the 24th of last month, give it a try.

Pretty late to the party, I lost track of the thread 😅

Have you tried using the Subtitle button? (It looks like a small box with dots at the bottom)

Yes I have.

It works on every other app except ITV Hub and IPlayer, but the latter has an onscreen switch for subtitles

This is starting to seem like a service/app issue, have you tried contacting iTV support?

I have approached them by email. I hope they respond.

They seem to prefer Twitter DM (Direct Messages?) but I don't use that

ITV Hub responded very quickly to my email pointing out that they don't work with Sony on Youview but I can get subtitles if I watch via Roku using my NowTV handset. Problem solved and smiles all round. Thanks Joe
