GoPro footage is upside down - KD55A8

Hello,

I have issue with playing footage from GoPro 9 on my Sony Android TV.. Sometimes I have to rotate my GoPro upside down when recording footage because of it's mounting system.

When I play those videos on my PC, laptop, phone,.. any other device than my tv really, they play perfectly fine.

But when I put footage on USB and want to play it via TV, video is upsidedown.. as if TV would ignore a flag in video file which defines it's orientation.

Are you guys doing anything to solve this issue after one year or just ignoring it?

And yes, I have installed the newest software updates.

Hi,

Well, my ActionCam footages all plays well

Most likely there's an issue with the interpretation of the recorded orientation information. So you might want to use a different player software.
