Sony Bravia KDL-60W605B has horizontal lines

The Sony Bravia KDL-60W605B has started to show horizontal lines which are shown on every channel and they are also visible when antenna cable is disconnected. The local Sony support suspected this is a problem with the panel itself.

Can anyone confirm that this is a problem with the panel (and not power supply for example)?
If yes, then I won't try to fix this.

Hi @mjt100, welcome to the Community.

You could try isolating the power supply by using a power conditioning unit, as it's not impossible this is down to electronic interference.

However it certainly is possible you have some internal interference or a faulty panel. In either case, you would have to get it checked out by a repair centre.
