KD-55XE8396 Restarts when internet is on

For some reason my Tv restarts randomly when the internet is on.

If the tv is on and I turn on the internet on I can almost guarantee it will restart immediately. Then usually once or twice more. Sometimes it happens if the TVs is turned on from standby and the internet is on. If I turn the internet off the restarts stop.

Has anyone else experienced this? I haven’t updated to Oreo yet

It's not the first time I've read it, do you have a VPN? Try anyway to restart Android TV by keeping the Power button on the remote control pressed. Possibly, it would have been appropriate after the update to restore the TV factory settings.

I do have a vpn app installed. I’ll remove it an see. Thanks
