I am going to try set up my new tv myself tomorrow,have,nt a clue how to do it and the booklet is,nt much help,I want to connect my sky q box,which hdmi port do i choose and also what is the ir blaster please

Hi @mandy30

Sounds like perhaps you should have paid the extra for them to set it up for you

Unless you have a HDCP 2.2 compliant soundbar or amp then you should connect you Sky Q into HDMI 2 and set the HDMI signal format to Enhanced. Home -> Settings-> External inputs-> HDMI signal format-> Enhanced format.

You can safely ignore the IR Blaster as it doesn’t work with Sky Q (only Sky+).

thanks for the reply,I dont have a soundbar so will just use hdmi 2 then,The set up cost was going to be quite expensive thats why i did,nt bother
