KD55XE7073 Apps and Media streaming

Hi All,

I just get a new Sony TV not so long ago KD55XE7073. How can I add more Apps. There are only few apps in the menu now and most of them are useless.

How many people like bolywood TV for example??

Other question is how to stream files from my PC?

I'm using Universal Media Player, Plex and tried few others media servers but I can't display the content.

I can see the servers listed in the menu and my PC name as well but I can't access it.

I can play everything trough PS4 or on other old Samsung TV from 2011 but not on Sony Bravia TV. Why is that??

I have done port forwarding on my router and nothing.

By the way I'm using cable connection CAT6 to all of devices. I don't like WiFi it's unstable and unreliable connection, unless U can afford for Enterprise grade AP system. Otherwise is only good for phones and tablets.

Hi @Foxy78. Please note you have posted your question in the Android TV section but your TV in Linux. You should be able to add new Apps using Opera TV on a Linux system.
