VPN PPTP

Will there be any updates for SONY android where there will be support for PPTP protocol?

Android it self has it build in as per my understanding but I can't see there is a user interface on the screen to to configure this.

OpenVPN is not an alternative right now for me that is why I'm asking as I can't find any APPS either to configure PPTP VPN
