Sony Android TV and Netflix Subtitles Problem

Seems to be a problem on my KDL-55W808C with Netflix and subtitles

Some subtitles is not fully displayed, some text is "cut out" or hidden.

I have no idea when this problem was added but i havent't seen this before.

Also when looking on the same episode on Sony KDL-50W805B (non Android) or a computer/tablet its working flawless, so it's must be a Android Tv/Sony problem.

Have tried to change the subtitle size on netflix site but nothing change except

it's too small to read, and still cutting out text.

Hi there

I have just tested this on my Android TV (KD-55XD8577) - using all small, medium and large text size. Unfortunately i get no issues. I am only testing on the English subtitoes though. See below for my 'crappy' picture.

In you case, I think it might be best for you to contact Netflix on this.

PS: Also tested on Battlestar Galactica.

thanks for checking, i use swedish subtiles, if i change to english i get the same as you

will try to report this to netflix

Thanks again for your advice, Netflix support was helpful and they said they will reviewing the swedish subtitle for American Horror Show.

Still strange that it works on all oher devices except on my Android TV
