KD-49XE9005 (XE90) 49" (2017) - Screen Mirroring

I'm looking at the XE90 at 49" as it hits the spot with dimensions / tech / price.

I cant find anything that details if you can mirror the screen from a smartphone ie iOS (AirPlay Mirroring) as the Samsung competition does. I dont think its a deal breaker but would be good to know.

Hello,

The Android TV platform supports Miracast screen mirroring that most Android phones are capable of. It also supports Chromecast screen mirroring on some Android phones. I don't think it supports AirPlay. As for casting apps with Chromecast you can do it with both Android and iOS.
