Recovering on Bravia following a failed Cast

Issue,

If a casting operation fails for some reason, which then results in a black screen, invariably the only way to recover the normal operation of the Bravia Android is to navigate to the controls and do a complete warm restart. (not a reset)

Is there any way of recovering the video without restarting the receiver?

Hi there

Im not sure if I have ever had a blank screen on a failed attempt at casting, however I find just pressing the dedicated "TV" button on the remote control seems to at least get me back to broadcast TV from most things. Unsure if you have tried that instead?

I have the same issue with new Xperia XA Ultra.

Casting photos from phone never fails.
Casting recorded Videos from phone sometimes results on a fail to perform and goes back to Live TV and...
always if there is a success to watch a video, after video ends the TV goes back to Live TV, does not continue casting with rest photo, video and the worst is that casting function on phone remains stuck.

Most times TV must be reboot to solve.
