Wireless printing

Hi

I have tried contacting Kodak (no help really), and looking online... but with no success. I think the problem lies with either this laptop (because it worked on my older laptop), with Windows 7 (as the other laptop had XP)... or with the anti virus not letting either the CD or internet download... load. Please help as this is for my daughter to use for her GCSE work. Thanks (in advance). Regards

Dave

Try downloading and installing the latest Windows 7 Driver and Firmware for the ESP 5210 from here: -

Have a look here for WiFi connection instructions and FAQs: -

Are you connecting via a network wireless router or direct from Vaio to printer?

It sounds like you're experiencing difficulties with wireless printing on your Windows 7 laptop, possibly related to antivirus software blocking the installation. Here are a few steps you can try:

  1. Temporarily disable your antivirus software and attempt to install the printer drivers again from the CD or download from the internet.
  2. Ensure that your Windows 7 laptop is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the printer.
  3. Try downloading the latest printer drivers directly from the manufacturer's website instead of using the CD.
  4. If possible, try connecting the printer to your laptop using a USB cable and see if it works. This can help isolate whether the issue is with the wireless connection or the printer drivers.

Hopefully, one of these steps will resolve the issue and allow your daughter to use the printer for her GCSE work.
